Fluorinated surfactants
Product Overview
WS2700 series
Oneschem fluorinated surfactants are engineered for demanding formulations requiring ultra-low surface tension (≤16.0 dynes/cm), rapid wetting, and superior spreading performance. This key performance advantage enables better substrate coverage, faster penetration, and improved formulation efficiency at low dosage levels.
Our C6 fluorosurfactant solutions are widely used in firefighting foam concentrates AFFF AR-AFFF FFFP FP, coatings, inks, specialty cleaners, and other industrial systems where conventional surfactants cannot deliver sufficient wetting performance.
WS2700 series C6-based fluorinated compounds will not degrade to form PFOS or PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid). The fluorides in the series comply with the 2010/15 PFOA management target program of the US Environmental Protection Agency.
Key Applications
1) Firefighting Foam Concentrates
Supports rapid film spreading and fuel-surface coverage, improving extinguishing efficiency in Class B fire systems.
2) Coatings & Paints
With surface tension ≤16.0 dynes/cm, it significantly improves wetting on low-energy substrates, reducing craters and leveling defects.
3) Inks & Printing
Enhances flow and substrate wetting for sharper print quality and more uniform ink transfer.
4) Industrial Cleaners
Provides fast penetration and wetting on difficult surfaces, increasing cleaning effectiveness in precision and heavy-duty operations.
5) Specialty Formulations
Ideal for systems requiring extreme wetting and spreading performance, especially where conventional surfactants are insufficient.

FAQ Section
Why choose a fluorinated surfactant with ultra-low surface tension (≤17.0 mN/m)?
A fluorinated surfactant with surface tension ≤17.0 mN/m delivers much faster wetting and spreading than conventional surfactants. This is critical for applications such as firefighting foam, coatings, inks, and industrial cleaners, especially on low-energy or hard-to-wet substrates.
For formulators, this means improved performance at lower dosage, better surface coverage, and fewer coating or printing defects.
What are the key benefits of C6 fluorosurfactants in industrial formulations?
C6 fluorosurfactants are widely selected for their strong wetting efficiency, formulation stability, and compatibility across multiple systems. They help improve leveling, penetration, and process consistency in AFFF foam concentrates, paints, inks, and specialty chemicals.
For buyers, the main value is stable quality and repeatable production performance, which reduces reformulation risk and quality complaints.
How can I ensure stable supply and consistent quality when sourcing fluorinated surfactants?
A common procurement pain point is supply inconsistency between batches and uncertain lead times. When sourcing fluorinated surfactants, request a supplier with clear QC standards, complete technical documentation (TDS/SDS), and global logistics capability.
At Oneschem, we focus on batch consistency, technical support, and reliable international delivery to help customers secure long-term supply for commercial production.
Is this fluorosurfactant suitable for firefighting foam and coating applications at the same time?
Yes. WS2700 series high-performance fluorosurfactants are designed for multi-industry use. In firefighting foam, they support rapid spreading and vapor suppression performance; in coatings, they improve substrate wetting, leveling, and defect control.
This cross-application versatility helps procurement teams reduce supplier complexity and improve sourcing efficiency.
Can I request a sample before placing a bulk order?
Yes. We support sample evaluation so you can verify key indicators such as wetting speed, compatibility, and dosage efficiency in your own system.
This helps reduce sourcing risk before commercial purchase of fluorosurfactants.
