Fluorine free foam
Title Tag: PFAS-Free fluorine free Firefighting Foam WS2700 surfactant solution
| Eco-Friendly Foam Concentrate | Class A/B Fires | Surfactant | Fluorine free foam
Meta Description: High-performance fluorine-free firefighting foam surfactant (WS2700) for hydrocarbon fires. 1%-3% formulations with rapid knockdown. Biodegradable & non-toxic.
Product Overview
WS2700 is a fluorine-free, low viscosity, aviation-grade foam concentrate surfactant designed for land-based hydrocarbon pool fires and Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) applications. It demonstrates fast knockdown and extinguishment, and long burnback resistance. It is effective with all standard firefighting equipment for low and medium expansion foam. In private testing, 2700 exceeded all MIL-PRF-32725 specifications. WS2700 is a fluorine-free, low viscosity, aviation-grade foam concentrate which is very effective on Class B hydrocarbon fuel fires at proportioning rates of 1-3%. It is readily biodegradable and is PFAS and siloxane free foam concentrate.
Key Applications
Hydrocarbon fires (petroleum, jet fuel, diesel)
Polar solvent fires (alcohols, acetone, esters)
Aviation rescue & firefighting (ARFF)
Industrial tank farms & processing facilities
Marine and offshore fire protection
Municipal fire services

FAQ Section
What is Fluorine-Free Foam (F3) and why is it replacing AFFF?
Fluorine-Free Foam (F3) is a highly effective, environmentally friendly firefighting foam concentrate formulated without any PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances). Due to strict global environmental regulations (such as EPA, ECHA, and the Stockholm Convention) restricting toxic "forever chemicals," F3 has become the mandated alternative to traditional AFFF. Our F3 foam provides excellent vapor suppression and extinguishes Class B flammable liquid fires quickly, ensuring both top-tier safety and 100% environmental compliance.
Is the firefighting performance of PFAS-Free Foam as effective as traditional AFFF?
Yes. While early generations of fluorine-free foams struggled with performance, our advanced F3 formulation creates a highly stable, thick foam blanket that rapidly cuts off oxygen and cools the fuel surface. It offers outstanding burnback resistance and fast knock-down times for both hydrocarbon and polar solvent fires, matching or exceeding the performance of legacy AFFF systems without the environmental hazards.
Can we use Fluorine-Free Foam with our existing AFFF firefighting equipment?
In most cases, yes, but a system review is recommended. F3 foams typically have a slightly higher viscosity (Newtonian or non-Newtonian) than AFFF. While it is compatible with most standard discharge devices (nozzles, monitors, and sprinklers), you may need to recalibrate or upgrade your proportioning equipment (such as bladder tanks or inline proportioners) to ensure the correct mixing ratio (e.g., 3% or 6%). We provide technical support to help you evaluate your current systems for a seamless transition.
How do we transition from AFFF to Fluorine-Free Foam? Do we need to clean our tanks?
Transitioning requires thorough cleaning. You cannot simply mix F3 with existing AFFF, as even trace amounts of AFFF will cause your system to fail PFAS-free compliance tests. We highly recommend completely draining, triple-rinsing, and professionally cleaning your storage tanks and piping before introducing the new Fluorine-Free Foam concentrate.
What international standards and certifications does your F3 foam meet?
Quality and reliability are our top priorities. Our fluorine-free firefighting foam concentrates are manufactured under strict quality control systems and are designed to meet or exceed major international standards such as EN1568, UL162, ICAO, and LASTFIRE protocols.
What is the shelf life, and how should F3 foam concentrate be stored?
When stored in its original, unopened packaging in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, our Fluorine-Free Foam concentrate has a shelf life of 10 to 15 years. The recommended storage temperature is typically between 2°C and 49°C (35°F to 120°F). Our foam is highly stable and resists degradation even in harsh industrial environments.
What is your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) and packaging options for international buyers?
As an experienced manufacturer and exporter, we offer flexible packaging to suit different project sizes. Standard packaging includes 25L/200L drums and 1000L IBC totes. Bulk ISO tank shipments are also available. Our standard MOQ is typically 1000 Liters, but we are open to discussing trial orders to help you test our product's performance. Lead times are fast, ensuring your supply chain remains uninterrupted.
